Here there are five or less players left and the blinds become significant. You must play an aggressive game at this stage and push out the weaker players as soon as you can.

This is the time when the game has just started out and there are about nine players on the table. Each player will have a fairly full stack and betting is not very restrictive. This is the time when you should try and take note of the other players and their behaviors in betting and playing.

In fact you will find that there are many players who will be betting pre-flop and sometimes even going all in. Here it is important to not get carried away with you chips.

It is best that you play a controlled poker game and do not go all in, since this could have you out of the game before the excitement even started out. Playing the blinds is another important aspect that needs attention here. With a large stack, almost everyone is tempted to play the blinds, since these require a very small percentage of the stack. Blinds are unreliable and in most cases there will be another player with a strong hand raising pre-flop.

So you will just end up either pulling out or losing. Make sure that you do not go about throwing your chips in such a manner.
